it is simple and straight to the point and that for me made it captivating .I love the way historical facts were incorporated into the story .It is men like him who keep our story alive .These stories are so important now as time passes and memories fade and the new generations lose access to them

It is similar to the other stories I have heard of the Palestinian families whose lives were disrupted in 1948. If only the world or more pointedly the American people could know the other side of the story maybe there would be a better opportunity for true peace and a new Palestine. I have always loved and admired Peter with his ever present smile and laughter and love of his family, especially now his grandkids. Thanks Tanya for the idea and creation of ‘My Olive Roots’.
